ElevenLabs has become an official partner of ADROLAB, and from now on it is our official voice partner. When one of our agents has to speak, on a phone call or in a video, ElevenLabs is where we start.
The partnership began on 9 October. We wanted to use it on real work before writing about it, so this note covers the first week, including the parts we haven't checked yet.
How we chose
We had used ElevenLabs before. In September we moved the voices in our presenter videos to another provider, so the partnership was a reason to compare again, this time with our own material.
On 9 October we took one of our presenter videos and made four versions of its sound. Then we listened to all four in one sitting.
Our listening test · 9 October 2026 · One clip
Four versions of the same voice.
- 1Original soundAs it came out of the video model
- 2Our own clean-upFree filters we run ourselves
- 3ElevenLabs voice isolatorStrips noise and keeps the voice
- 4ElevenLabs voice changerThe same words, re-spoken by an ElevenLabs copy of the presenter's voice with the timing keptChosen
The fourth version was the clear pick. ElevenLabs says its voice changer keeps the emotion and delivery of the original, and that is what we heard. The words still sit on the same lip movements, but the voice is cleaner and steadier.
The isolator did less than we expected. On our meter it added almost no sharpness to the voice, so we don't use it on its own. A partnership doesn't change that rule for us: a step that costs time or credits has to show up in the result.
What runs on ElevenLabs today
In RealSight, presenter videos have been voiced with ElevenLabs since 10 October, and presenter clips we keep go through the voice changer.
In ADROSUITE, explainer videos made in the studio are narrated by an ElevenLabs voice. The phone receptionist already speaks with ElevenLabs voices, which reach it through the calling platform that handles our phone lines.
What we'll test next
The bigger question is the phone. ElevenLabs also runs complete voice agents that listen and reply on a live call. We plan to run our receptionist on ElevenLabs Agents next to the current setup and compare how fast each one answers and how often callers have to repeat themselves. We'll publish the numbers here.
We also want a voice for the chat on this website, so visitors can talk to the lab instead of typing. ElevenLabs is the first option we'll try.
