This Privacy Policy explains how ADROLAB ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit adrolab.ai (the "Site"), use the chat on the Site, book a call, sign up for our lab notes, or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

ADROLAB is two companies: ADRO LAB Innovation Ltd, licensed in the Dubai International Financial Centre (Dubai, UAE), and ADRO LAB, INC., incorporated in Delaware, USA. For privacy questions, call or email us using the details below.

2. Information we collect

• Chat messages. What you type into the chat on the Site, and which page you are on when you send it.
• Bookings. When you ask to book a call or an AI Audit through the chat: your name, email address, phone number, any note you add, and the conversation so far.
• Lab notes sign-up. Your email address, when you sign up for the lab notes.
• Emails you send us. Your email address and whatever you choose to write.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, referring page and approximate location, for security and reliability.

3. How we use your information

• To answer you in the chat. Chat messages are processed by AI model providers, through OpenRouter, to generate the answers. Chats may be saved so we can follow up with you.
• To handle your booking. We email your request, with the conversation, to our team, and send you a confirmation email.
• To send the lab notes. Only if you signed up. You can leave the list at any time.
• To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you.
• To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.

4. Legal bases

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or the DIFC Data Protection Law apply, we process your data on the basis of: your consent (when you chat with us, book a call or sign up for the lab notes), steps you ask us to take before an agreement (your booking), our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, under appropriate safeguards:

• Hosting and network. Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery and security).
• Website chat. OpenRouter, Inc., which passes your chat messages to the AI model provider that writes the answer. We ask OpenRouter to use only providers that do not keep your messages to train their models.
• Email. Resend, which sends booking emails and the lab notes, and keeps the lab notes mailing list.
• Fonts. Google Fonts (Google LLC) delivers the typefaces the Site uses, so your browser connects to Google's servers.
• Legal. Where required by law, regulation, or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

We operate from the UAE and the United States, and use providers that may process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

7. Data retention

We keep enquiries, bookings and saved chats only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymize them. We keep your lab notes sign-up until you leave the list. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. To leave the lab notes list, use the unsubscribe link in any lab notes email or reply to it. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

9. Cookies and storage

The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The chat keeps your conversation in your browser's session storage, so it follows you from page to page; it is cleared when you close the tab. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site and keep it available.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your local law), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
